Use of collected data by Qogni

Personal Data

  1. Basic Personal Data: Personal data is any information that identifies or can be used to identify an individual. We define this as: last name, email, street, house/appartment number.
  2. All other data: this is collected data that cannot be directly traced back to an individual, such as general health related data (hight, weight, topics of interest, and all information generated and/or shared on the Qogni platform, e.g. questions from our health questionnares on body and mind).

This data is used to perform the service and to send personalized information and to tailor your personal programs. The data is stored in Europe on secure servers hosted by Microsoft Azure. Our employees are specifically required to respect the confidentiality of your data. All other data, only when anonimized, can be used by Qogni for any purpose, e.g. benchmarking or consolidated views to third parties.

Communication

When you send us email or other messages, we may retain those messages. Sometimes, we may ask you for personal information that is relevant to the situation. This makes it possible for us to process your inquiries and respond to your requests. The data is stored on secure servers of Microsoft Azure or another third party.

Cookies

Our website and/or application uses “cookies” (text files placed on your computer) to help analyze how users use the website and/or apps. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website can be transferred to secure servers owned by Google or another third party. We use this information to track how you use the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage.

Purposes

We do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this privacy policy unless we have obtained your prior consent.

Third parties

Your personal data is processed in our CRM and accounting systems. This data will only be used for the purpose of the respective application and will not be further disseminated. In specific cases, personal data may be shared with an authorized third party, such as a specialist or accountant hired by us. In such cases, only the necessary data will be shared to perform the respective tasks.

Manage Personal Data

You can view, change, or delete all personal information provided to us, unless it is in conflict with a legal obligation. For example, our obligation to the tax authorities regarding invoicing.

Viewing or modifying parts of your data can be done in your personal customer environment, for which you received the login details upon registration. If you wish your Basic Personal Data to be deleted from our systems, you can manage this in on the setting page of our application and website.

Adjusting/unsubscribing from services

At the bottom of each newsletter mailing, you will find the option to unsubscribe.

Disabling cookies

Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, it is possible that some features and services on our website may not function properly if cookies are disabled in your browser.
