Discover the power of natural care for anxiety through our groundbreaking research. In a randomized controlled trial published in PLoS One, we investigated the effectiveness of a holistic approach in alleviating anxiety symptoms.
Anxiety is a serious health condition that takes a toll on overall well-being. Our study enrolled employees with moderate to severe anxiety and explored the benefits of natural care compared to standardized psychotherapy.
Participants were randomly assigned to receive either natural care (NC) or psychotherapy intervention (PT) over a 12-week period. The NC group received personalized dietary advice, relaxation techniques, and a herbal supplement containing ashwagandha root extract. The PT group underwent psychotherapy sessions and received a placebo.
The results were remarkable. The NC group showed significant reductions in anxiety scores compared to the PT group, along with improvements in mental health, concentration, fatigue, social functioning, vitality, and overall quality of life. No severe side effects were observed.
